Brian Pattison
Versatile and dependable trombonist
Cultivating a sense of community with every performance
“A beautiful sound.”
-Jiggs Whigham
I am an Indianapolis-based trombonist who is fluent in a wide variety of styles. I am also an active clinician with local high schools, and an up-and-coming jazz composer and arranger. I hold a Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Music degree in Trombone Performance from Baldwin Wallace University.
A well-rounded educational experience
I believe that every trombonist should be as versatile as possible, a philosophy that serves as the bedrock for my private teaching. I teach trombone, euphonium, jazz improvisation, and composition to students at all ages and skill levels, from beginners to those seeking a career in music.
